Territory Generation is introducing a Sustainability Policy and will implement sustainability procedures over the next 12 months.
This is sustainability for the whole business, ie. Operations, Finance, Environment, People etc. Through Social, Economic, Environment and our People.
The Brundtland Commission’s definition of environmental sustainability: Meeting the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs.
Sustainability is about a long-term commitment that focuses on resource conservation, social development and environmental stewardship. There is often a cross-over or connection between environmental management and environmental sustainability eg. managing and minimising our greenhouse gas emissions (pollution) will increase the long-term sustainability of our atmosphere.
