Owen Springs Power Station has gas and diesel engines to produce up to 77MW of electricity to service the needs of Alice Springs and its surrounding districts.
The power station has recently completed a 41MW expansion to increase capacity, reduce emissions, and improve efficiency and reliability.
The site is about 26km south of Alice Springs on Brewer Road off the Stuart Highway.
