Territory Generation’s major projects in Tennant Creek
and Owen Springs are taking shape.
In the past few weeks, the amenities buildings have arrived
and the electrical sub-contractor commenced at both
sites.
Good progress has been made at Tennant Creek Power Station,
the construction of the engine canopy is underway and the
civil work is nearing completion, with an aim to demobilise
from site next month and be fully operational by August
2017.
At Owen Springs Power Station, the powerhouse and workshop
construction is nearing completion, the blackstart generator
is due for installation in the coming weeks and civil works
are continuing on the sediment ponds and stormwater run
off/drainage.
