Territory Generation is introducing a Sustainability Report which covers sustainability for the whole business, including: Operations, Finance, Environment, and People (through Social, Economic, Environment and our People).
The Brundtland Commission’s definition of environmental sustainability is: “Meeting the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs”. Sustainability is about a long-term commitment that focuses on resource conservation, social development and environmental stewardship. There is often a cross-over or connection between environmental management and environmental sustainability eg. managing and minimising our greenhouse gas emissions (pollution) will increase the long-term sustainability of our atmosphere.
